Play used games

There were rumors circulating that Sony was planning to lock-out the use of second-hand game software from the PlayStation 3. Understandably, the news had gamers more than a bit angry at what would be a complete removal of the opportunity to buy and play used games.
As we mentioned, the rumor stemmed from a patent application made by Sony Computer Entertainment’s technology core looking into such protection technology, though the fact that the possibility exists doesn’t mean it will be implemented.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed they dont ever go through with it.
